About
Tonya Sadler
My name is Tonya Sadler, and I’m running for County Commissioner because I believe District 10 is tired of being gaslit by ‘feel-good’ politics.
I don’t believe in empty gestures. I believe in front porch politics. I believe in a leader who writes their own letters, sends their own emails, and doesn't nickel-and-dime the taxpayers they’re supposed to serve. I’m not in this for a title or a check; I’m in this because true service requires sacrifice.
I’ve proven that. I risked my own paycheck to testify against illegal ticket quotas because I believe the law applies to the people in uniform just as much as the people they serve. I stand with law enforcement—I’ve lobbied for more sworn officers every budget cycle—but I will never stand for illegal profiling or the kind of chaos we’ve seen in places like Minneapolis.
In Collegedale, I’ve voted against unnecessary tax increases and against bad development. I’ve supported the modernization of our IT infrastructure, protected our food trucks from big-government overreach, and brought back the cherished community Christmas parade.
I’m ready to take that same 'elbow grease' to the County Commission. No more excuses or frequent deferrals. Just homegrown backbone. It’s time to push our sleeves up and get to work.
